Casicky - if Van Persie gets injured, I would imagine Bendtner would move into the focal point, with Eduardo and Arshavin under instructions to get to him quicker.

ignatz, Silvestre might have the experience, but I think his legs have gone, and playing the high line system that we do really exposes that. Gibbs looks good to me but will make mistakes (but then so did Clichy last season), and I find Eboue more palatable at right back than right wing.

But agreed that they are a step down from Clichy and Sagna.

I'm probably the laughing stock of some comments sections because I keep on saying that Silvestre is not that bad.

DJ and Sylvester are good back-up CBs in my opinion: if anything in defence we look a little exposed at left- and right-back, with understudies Gibbs and Eboue not quite convincing.

My bet is that if AW buys any defender it will be a versatile one who can play across the back line and also DM, not a big lump to replace Senderos. Someone we've never heard of from a minor European side. Someone like O'Shea, but not as pants. Or someone like Flamini, who started off at left-back.

good post

I am a bit worried that if Van-P gets injured who will actually come in and lead the attack??thats why tomorrow i want to maybe see Eduardo and Bendt52 tried there in tandem.

_____________Almunia
Sagana__Gallas___Verma___Clichy
_____________Song_____________
_______Ramsey_____Diaby_______
Bendt52________________Arshavin
___________Eduardo____________

I think that why we would been linked with Chamahk coz he looks like he could hold up the ball and link players up as well.

I know you say Diaby,Denii and Ramsey mite cover defensively but the all have the tendency to attack they dot seem that disciplined as lets say compared to Song,so i feel Matuidi could be ideal. If we get Matuidi he can go CDM while Song drops into the back four if any of the marvelous two get injured.

so Matuidi and Chamahk for me unless i see other players step up to cover the positions i jus mentioned.
