I agree with the English argument, but it seems to go further than that – popular players rarely get criticised.

Torres, for example, is a media golden boy, so they barely mention the fact he does go down rather easily at times.

Agree RE: bent, but the same can be said for carlton cole against us. He took quite a few tumbles outside the box before finally getting a penalty.
If he’d done that against Utd, I have a feeling he may have received some stick for it.
And the rooney dive the week after eduardo’s incident.
Ngog and eduardo are easy targets because theyr not english
