Very quick one tonight, as it has gone midnight (hence the Christmas message), and having spent the whole evening doing the parental thing of trying to work out how kids toys fit together, I’m spent.

It has been a big year for the blog, and I’d like to extend a sincere thanks to everyone who reads, comments, emails or just passes a quick glance this way. It has been much appreciated, and I hope you enjoy some of what you see.

2010 should be another interesting year for the blog, I have a whole bunch of new ideas up my sleeve, most notably a podcast which will start early in the new year. I’ll touch on that more after the festive season is done.

Until then, have a great Christmas break, enjoy the Villa game, eat, drink and be Arsenal.

Take care, and I’ll see you on the other side.

  2. If AW/Arsenal are serious about fighting for the title/cl qualification, they have to send out out a statement of intent i.e beating AV.Easier said than done.Villa have won four matches on the trot and have been unbeaten in eight games.
MU and Chelsea were unbeaten until the ninth mach. This will be AV ninth game. The law of averages will come into play sooner or later and I expect the gunners to at least draw if not beat the Villans.

  3. from beautiful Greece, i would like to wish all of you Merry Xmas and a happy new year, and please Arsene, i followed you and you fuckin’ kids to Manchester, the Emirates and Karaiskakis stadium and i got two defeats out of three in the space of 1 week, please, please, fuckin’ PLEASE Arsene, make the fuckin’ fuckin’ project fuckin’ Youth work mate, we are payin’ you 4 mil a year and we follow you around Europe like assholes, MAKE IT FUCKIN WORK NOW or leave now with some dignity.and something else. if you are a miserable little cunt who’s never followed the Arsenal except wathcing it on some lousy internet stream, don;t dare to call me a bitchy whatever, cause i’ve followed the man himself throughout Europe singing just to make his fuckin’ kids feel ok about themselves. enough. fuck this shit Arsene, i DEMAND results for next year, and i am pretty sure you’re gonna give em to me. MERRY fuckin XMas everynone!! health and peace to all of you :)

  4. Left back could be the problem area, Silvestre is not fast enough for their attack. If Traore is not available then eboue should play instead.

  5. hope we run rings around them like last week we did to hull…cant wait to see diaby and fab together…

  6. hope nasri stamps on their hardman….that will make them play with their emotions, not their brains……

  7. Should be a good match on Sunday. Whatever the outcome, support arsenal. The team has improved tremendously since last season and this is going to be a huge season. 2 semifinals last year is not bad at all.
I think this season we will walk away with trophies. Starting Sunday, my headline is “crashton villa’s season goes off course after a humbling defeat at the emirates…”
    Merry Christmas everyone!
Greek gooner, hope u feeling better after Sunday
